Beyonce to show at MTV awards


US pop star Beyonce Knowles will perform at the annual MTV Video Music Awards, which is being held next month in New York.
The 27 year old is up for nine awards at the ceremony including video of the year and will perform her latest hit single Sweet Dreams.
Beyonce's husband Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Pink and Muse have also been lined up to perform.
Last year's host, comedian Russell Brand, is back for a second time.
The British star caused contestation at the 2008 event, by mention to then-US President George W Bush as a "retarded cowboy fella".
However, MTV have asked him back and he has already recorded an online lagger with Britney Spears publicising the show, which is being held at New York's Radio City Music Hall on 13 September.
Last year, Spears accumulated three prizes for her track Piece of Me at the annual awards show.

"Woman Of The Year" Beyonce named


Beyonce is to be named Woman Of The Year by Billboard magazine.
The Halo singer will be satisfyed by the industry publication at its annual Women In Music case, which will be held in New York on October 2.
Beyonce, who is married to hip hop star Jay-Z, will join a list of celebs including Ciara and Reba McEntire, who have previously won the award.
It has been a long year for the singer and actress. She had a smash hit with Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), which topped the charts in America, performed at US President Barack Obama's establishment and had a No 1 movie with haunted.

Charges against Jay-Z, Beyonce' bodyguard in snapper case dropped


Washington (ANI): All charges against Beyonce’s beau Jay Z and her bodyguard have been dropped after the latter was allegedly charged with threatening the paparazzi. The pair is currently holidaying in Dubrovnik, Croatia and the bodyguard was involved in a tussle with centre when they tried to Click them.

The charges were dawnfall after a review of the picture of the incident. The video shows the bodyguard Julius, blocking off footageman in an alleyway as the couple walks out of a restaurant. Jay-Z is heard shouting, "Let's go, let's go, don't worry about it" and "stop stop stop," reports Contactmusic. Three center claimed that Julius threatened them, manhandled them and damaged their property, none of which is seen in the video. The Bodyguard will not face any allowable perform after the local authorities inspection the claims declared him clean, according to TMZ.com. However, he will be fined an unrevealed sum.
